Terms of Service

Effective August 1, 2026

Plain-English summary.Vochure connects you with real employees who may refer you. We do not guarantee a referral, an interview, or a job. Premium is $29/month and you can cancel any time. Do not misrepresent who you are. If you are a referrer, only post roles you can genuinely refer for and follow your employer's rules. This summary is for readability and is not a substitute for the full terms below.

1. Who we are

Vochure (“Vochure”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Sulphoor LLC. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of vochure.com and any related services (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.

3. What Vochure is — and is not

Vochure is a marketplace that introduces job seekers to employees willing to consider vouching for them. We are not an employer, employment agency, staffing firm, or recruiter, and we do not act as an agent for any employer or candidate.

We do not guarantee that you will receive a vouch, a referral, an interview, or a job offer. Referrers decide independently whether to vouch for anyone. A declined request is a normal outcome and is not a failure of the Service.

We do not verify the accuracy of every job listing, employer detail, salary figure, or referral bonus posted by a referrer, and we do not control any employer's hiring process or timeline.

4. Accounts and tiers

Accounts begin on the Free tier. Free accounts may browse listings and submit a limited number of vouch requests, and certain information — including employer names and referrer identities — is withheld.

Premium is a recurring subscription that unlocks that information and removes the request limit. Access is tied to your account and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Premium costs $29 per month unless otherwise stated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the remainder of a period. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes will not affect the period you have already paid for.

6. Rules for job seekers

  • Represent your experience, employment history, and qualifications honestly.
  • Do not impersonate another person or apply on someone else's behalf.
  • Do not use the Service to send bulk, automated, or spam requests to referrers.
  • Do not attempt to identify, unmask, scrape, or contact hidden referrers or employers outside the Service, including by probing our systems or circumventing access controls.

7. Rules for referrers

  • You must be a current employee of the organisation whose roles you post, and you must have a good-faith basis to believe the role is genuinely open.
  • You are responsible for complying with your employer's referral policy, confidentiality obligations, and employment agreement. Do not post confidential or embargoed roles. If your employer prohibits participation, do not participate.
  • Do not solicit or accept payment from candidates in exchange for a referral, whether on or off the platform.
  • Evaluate candidates on merit. Do not decline or select candidates on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
  • Keep candidate materials confidential and use them only to assess a referral.

8. Content you provide

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including your résumé, profile, listings, and messages. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, and for ensuring it is not unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service by automated means.
  • Circumvent, disable, or probe any access control, paywall, rate limit, or security measure, or access data you are not authorised to access.
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any other user.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or harmful to other users, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 8, 11, 12 and 13 — will do so.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing or user is accurately described.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sulphoor LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost employment opportunities, lost wages, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sulphoor LLC and its officers, members, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — including any dispute between you and your employer arising from your participation as a referrer.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice — for example by email or an in-product notice — before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Sulphoor LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your place of residence.

Note

These Terms are a good-faith starting point drafted for an early-stage product. They have not been reviewed by a licensed attorney. Before relying on them commercially — and particularly before operating at scale or across jurisdictions — have counsel review them, especially the employment, arbitration, and consumer-protection implications.
