Why we built this
Applying for jobs online has quietly stopped working. Around three quarters of applications are filtered by software before a person reads them. Roughly a third of postings are “ghost jobs” that were never seriously open. Meanwhile, companies pay their own employees thousands of dollars per successful referral.
So there are two job markets. One where you submit a résumé into a void, and one where someone inside the building walks it to the hiring manager. The second one works. Most people simply have no way in.
Vochure is the way in. Employees who are already being paid to refer people post the roles they can vouch for. You apply through them, not through the portal.
How it works
Employees post roles they can actually refer for
Every referrer is a real, verified employee at the company they post for — not a recruiter, not an aggregator.
You browse and request a vouch
Send a short, personal message explaining why you fit. No cover letter theatre, no ATS keyword games.
They decide, and refer you in
If it is a fit, they submit you through their internal referral system — the path that actually gets read.
What we will not do
A marketplace like this only works if people trust it, so some things are off the table permanently:
- ✓We do not sell your résumé, profile, or contact details to recruiters or data brokers.
- ✓We do not let referrers charge you privately for a referral. Vochure is a subscription, not a toll booth.
- ✓We do not guarantee interviews or offers, and we never will. A vouch is a genuine human judgement — it can be declined.
- ✓We do not fabricate listings or activity to make the marketplace look busier than it is.
Who's behind this

Founder, Vochure · Sulphoor LLC, est. 2011
I spent the early part of my career in the corporate world in Nigeria and North America. Long enough, in both, to see how hiring really works — that the people who get in are usually the people who already know someone inside.
In 2011 I started Sulphoor LLC and have been building software ever since, across a lot of different industries and including work in government contracting. Different sectors, same pattern every time: the best opportunities move through personal networks, and everyone outside that network is applying into a void.
Vochure is my attempt at opening that door. Not a job board with better search — a way to reach the person inside who can actually vouch for you. I'm building it in the open, and if something here is broken or unfair I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
